The Call

Throughout Jesus’ time on earth, it was clear where He was heading – towards Jerusalem. As followers of Christ, however, our destination is not a cross but a crown. We are on our way to heaven. So how can we live in such a way that others recognise this in us?

This issue encourages us to rethink our idea of discipleship. We examine how Jesus called and trained His disciples and explore exactly what He taught them – that being a follower would be costly but would gain them the greatest prize.
